Description:
Solodyne is an oral minocycline that is indicated for once a day treatment of acne vulgaris in patients twelve years of age and older.
|

Cautions:
Solodyn is a Minocycline, and like other tetracyclines, they can cause fetal harm when administered to pregnant women. Tetracycline drugs should especially not be used during tooth development (last half of pregnancy and up to 8 years of age) as they can cause permanent discolouration of teeth.
